At TGH we are passionate about investing in commercial property in the Waikato region and beyond. Waikato-Tainui invested in its first hotel in 1999. Since then, we have added a further 3 hotels to our portfolio. Our hotel properties offer premium accommodations and amenities, ensuring high occupancy rates and strong returns for investors.


Another commercial investment we manage is retail spaces. We choose to invest in properties located in high-traffic areas anchored by well-known retailers, providing a stable stream of rental income for our iwi.


TGH has experience managing a number of Crown-owned entities which are located on Waikato-Tainui whenua.


Waikato University and Wintec are located on whenua that was returned to Waikato-Tainui in 1995 following the raupatu settlement with the Crown.
