There are two leases on the site (the farm and the Dragstrip lease) and both are leased to Genesis with both to expire in 2027.
Dairy farm – lease to Genesis and sublease to Woodlot.
The farm which has an area of circa 560 hectares was earmarked as the potential site for a future power station. It has been subleased to Woodlot Enterprises Ltd from 2018 (who also lease some whenua directly from TGH at Meremere A) with this lease to expire in May 2026.
Dragstrip
The Dragstrip is subleased by Genesis to the Dragstrip organisation and has an area of circa 38 hectares.
