Graduate Programme

We aim to develop knowledge, skills and work experience and for the graduates to make a solid contribution to the existing high performing team.

TGH is the commercial entity that drives the economic engine of Waikato-Tainui. TGH is a progressive company with a challenging and rewarding internal environment.

The TGH Investment portfolio is made up of property investment and development, hotels, farming, forestry and an equity investment in Ryman Healthcare. It is expected that the applicant will have majored in one of the following subjects:

• Property Services
• Accounting
• Finance
• Management/Business

Applicants with other majors will be considered.

The TGH Graduate Programme offers fixed term employment for 2 years. The graduate will report to a manager who will provide guidance and support with regular two-way feedback on the graduates performance and progress. A senior manager will act as mentor offering guidance on career development.

Training will be predominantly on-the-job conducted by various staff members, however where appropriate the graduate will be offered opportunities to attend external training and potential secondments with other stakeholders and advisors. The successful graduate will need to take personal responsibility for their work assigned as part of the programme. This is an amazing opportunity and accordingly TGH is looking for a person with high levels of initiative and drive, able to meet deadlines and possess a strong sense of pride in their work.
